Nimbus

This bulb requires a leading edge (TRIAC) dimmer switch to function properly. Standard rotary or trailing edge dimmers may cause flickering or buzzing. If you're unsure what type of dimmer you currently have, check the manufacturer's specifications or consult a qualified electrician before installation.

At 350 lumens, this bulb produces gentle, ambient lighting comparable to a traditional 35W halogen. It's ideal for accent lighting, bedside lamps, or smaller sitting areas where you want a warm, cosy atmosphere rather than bright task lighting. For general room lighting, you'll likely need multiple bulbs across several fittings.

Yes, the Nimbus has a standard GU10 base and will fit any GU10 spotlight or downlight fitting. At 54mm in height, it fits comfortably within most recessed ceiling housings. Simply push and twist to install — no electrician required for bulb replacement.

CRI (Colour Rendering Index) measures how accurately colours appear under a light source, rated from 0 to 100. This bulb's CRI90+ rating means fabrics, wood finishes, and skin tones look natural and true to life, unlike cheaper LEDs that can make colours appear washed out or distorted. It's particularly noticeable in living spaces with textiles and natural materials.

The bulb itself has no IP rating specified, so it should only be installed in bathroom fittings that are appropriately rated and positioned according to bathroom zone regulations. The fitting (not the bulb) must provide the necessary splash or moisture protection depending on its proximity to water sources.

The Nimbus GU10 LED bulb is covered by a 5-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. This provides long-term peace of mind, though with LED technology you can expect many years of reliable use under normal operating conditions.
