Product Care Guide
Plaster
Dust with a soft, dry cloth only. Plaster is porous, so avoid all liquid cleaners — they'll stain or mark the surface. Raw plaster fittings can be painted: use a matte emulsion in two thin coats, allowing each to dry fully before powering on. Don't install in bathrooms or other damp areas unless the IP rating allows it.
Brass & metal
Brass develops a natural patina over time, which most people prefer. To keep the current finish, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. For a brighter look, use a brass-specific polish sparingly. Never use lemon, vinegar, or abrasive cleaners — these damage lacquered brass irreversibly. Polished chrome and nickel finishes can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth.
Glass
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly to avoid water marks. For stubborn marks, a mild glass cleaner is fine. Always ensure the fitting is switched off and fully cool before cleaning.
Fabric shades
Dust with a soft brush or vacuum on the lowest setting using an upholstery attachment. Avoid wet cleaning — fabric shades can stain, warp, or shrink. Spot-clean small marks only with a barely-damp microfibre cloth.
Ceramic
Glazed ceramic can be wiped with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Unglazed or matte ceramic should be kept dry and dusted only. Always ensure the fitting is switched off and cool first.
Before you clean
Switch off at the wall and let the fitting cool fully. Never spray cleaner directly onto a fitting — apply to a cloth first. If your fitting has visible wiring, electrical components, or LED drivers exposed, keep moisture well away from these areas.

Does the Nessa pendant light need to be installed by a qualified electrician?
Yes, as this is a hardwired Class I fitting, it must be installed by a competent person in accordance with UK Building Regulations Part P. The light connects directly to your mains ceiling wiring rather than plugging in. If you're not qualified yourself, we recommend hiring a registered electrician to ensure safe installation and compliance.
Can this pendant light be used with a dimmer switch?
The product specifications do not indicate dimmer compatibility for this integrated LED fitting. We recommend contacting us directly before purchasing if dimming functionality is essential, as attempting to dim a non-dimmable LED can cause flickering or damage to the driver. The light outputs 960 lumens at 3000K warm white as standard.
What are the dimensions of the Nessa pendant light and how low does it hang?
The stone and wood shade measures 155mm in diameter with a height of 55mm, giving it a low-profile dome shape. The adjustable cable is 1.7 metres long, allowing you to set the drop height to suit your ceiling and table height. The ceiling canopy has a 100mm diameter to cover standard junction boxes.
Do I need to buy bulbs separately or is the LED built in?
This is an integrated LED fitting, meaning the 12W LED module is built into the unit permanently — no separate bulbs are required. The LED is rated for 50,000 hours of use (roughly 17 years at 8 hours per day), after which the entire fitting would need replacing rather than just changing a bulb.
Is the travertine stone genuine natural material or is it a printed effect?
The Nessa features authentic travertine stone combined with real wood accents — these are natural materials, not prints or imitations. Because travertine is a genuine sedimentary stone, each pendant will have unique veining, pitting, and colour variations that make your light truly one-of-a-kind. This artisan quality is part of the charm, though it does mean slight differences from the product photograph should be expected as part of the stone's natural character.

The Nessa emits a warm white light at 3000K, which creates a cosy, inviting atmosphere similar to traditional incandescent bulbs.
