Product Care Guide
Plaster
Dust with a soft, dry cloth only. Plaster is porous, so avoid all liquid cleaners — they'll stain or mark the surface. Raw plaster fittings can be painted: use a matte emulsion in two thin coats, allowing each to dry fully before powering on. Don't install in bathrooms or other damp areas unless the IP rating allows it.
Brass & metal
Brass develops a natural patina over time, which most people prefer. To keep the current finish, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. For a brighter look, use a brass-specific polish sparingly. Never use lemon, vinegar, or abrasive cleaners — these damage lacquered brass irreversibly. Polished chrome and nickel finishes can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth.
Glass
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly to avoid water marks. For stubborn marks, a mild glass cleaner is fine. Always ensure the fitting is switched off and fully cool before cleaning.
Fabric shades
Dust with a soft brush or vacuum on the lowest setting using an upholstery attachment. Avoid wet cleaning — fabric shades can stain, warp, or shrink. Spot-clean small marks only with a barely-damp microfibre cloth.
Ceramic
Glazed ceramic can be wiped with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Unglazed or matte ceramic should be kept dry and dusted only. Always ensure the fitting is switched off and cool first.
Before you clean
Switch off at the wall and let the fitting cool fully. Never spray cleaner directly onto a fitting — apply to a cloth first. If your fitting has visible wiring, electrical components, or LED drivers exposed, keep moisture well away from these areas.

Questions
Does the Laska outdoor wall light need to be installed by a qualified electrician?
Yes, as this is a hardwired Class I fitting, installation must comply with Part P of the Building Regulations in England and Wales. Unless you are a competent person registered with an electrical self-certification scheme, you will need to hire a qualified electrician to carry out the work and issue the necessary certification. The fitting connects directly to your mains supply via a junction box or backplate.
Is this wall light suitable for exposed outdoor locations in the rain?
Yes, the Laska has an IP65 rating, meaning it is fully protected against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. This makes it suitable for mounting on exterior walls, porches, patios, and other outdoor areas exposed to rain and harsh weather. The aluminium and glass construction is designed to withstand outdoor conditions.
Can I replace the LED bulb when it eventually fails?
No, this fitting uses an integrated LED module which is not user-replaceable. Integrated LEDs typically last 15,000–30,000 hours depending on usage, which equates to many years of normal use. When the LED reaches end of life, the entire fitting would need to be replaced, though this is unlikely to be necessary for a very long time.
Is this wall light dimmable with a standard dimmer switch?
The specifications do not indicate that this fitting is dimmable. Integrated LED fittings require specific compatibility information to work with dimmer switches, and without confirmation of dimming capability, you should assume this light operates at full brightness only. If dimming is essential, please verify compatibility before purchase or consider an alternative dimmable fitting.
What are the exact dimensions and how far does it protrude from the wall?
The Laska measures 160mm in height, 80mm in width, and projects just 39mm from the wall. This slim depth makes it ideal for pathways, doorways, or narrow spaces where a low-profile fitting is needed. The compact size suits both residential and commercial exterior applications without obstructing access.
What colour temperature is the light and is it suitable for creating a warm ambience outdoors?
This fitting emits warm white light at 3000K, which produces a soft, welcoming glow similar to traditional halogen bulbs. At 6 watts with a 62-degree beam angle, it provides accent lighting rather than intense illumination, making it well-suited for decorative outdoor lighting, highlighting architectural features, or creating ambient lighting around doorways and seating areas.

The Enso Standard
Anyone can sell you a light.
We’d rather sell you the right one.
Lighting, considered.
Chosen, not stocked
For every piece here, we passed on hundreds. If a fitting doesn’t earn its place, it isn’t here.
Curation is mostly the art of saying no.
Held to one standard
Copenhagen brass or precision-built LED — every piece is vetted the same way: finish, build, light quality, safety. If it doesn’t pass, it doesn’t stay.
The standard doesn’t care what a light costs.
Nothing left to guess
Every dimension, bulb, IP rating and install note published before you buy — you and your electrician know exactly what arrives.
The spec sheet is the love letter.
Backed, properly
Two-year warranty as standard, 30-day returns. If something isn’t right, we’d rather know — and put it right.
A fitting should outlast the fashion that chose it.
