The Oda brings that sought-after Scandinavian calm into your home with its natural oak-look rim and sleek black inner ring. The warm contrast between materials creates an inviting, contemporary feel that works beautifully in living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens or hallways. At 41 cm, it makes a gentle statement without overwhelming your space — just the right presence to anchor a room with understated style.
With integrated LED technology delivering 1300 lumens of warm white light, you'll enjoy brilliant illumination without ever changing a bulb. Good to know
A few questions,
before it comes home.
Can I replace the LED bulbs in the Oda ceiling light, or are they fixed?
The Oda uses integrated LEDs that are built into the fitting and cannot be replaced like traditional bulbs. The integrated LED module has a rated lifespan of 30,000 hours — that's roughly 15 years with typical household use. When the LEDs eventually reach the end of their life, the entire fitting would need replacing, though this is unlikely to be necessary for many years.
Do I need an electrician to install this ceiling light?
Yes, this is a hardwired ceiling light and must be installed by a qualified electrician in compliance with Part P of the Building Regulations. The installation involves connecting the fitting directly to your mains circuit, which is notifiable electrical work in England and Wales. The fitting is Class I, so it requires an earth connection.
How do I dim the Oda LED ceiling light?
The Oda features 3-step dimming using your existing wall switch — no special dimmer switch required. Simply flip your standard on/off switch in quick succession to cycle through three brightness levels: 100%, 50%, and 10%. This makes it convenient to adjust the mood without any additional wiring or controls.
What colour temperature does this light give off, and how bright is it?
The Oda emits a warm white light at 2700K, which creates a cosy, inviting atmosphere similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. At 1300 lumens output from its 24W integrated LED, it provides enough general illumination for a medium-sized bedroom, study, or kitchen area of roughly 12–15 square metres.
What are the exact dimensions of this fitting, and how far does it hang down from the ceiling?
The Oda measures 41 cm in diameter and has a low-profile height of just 8.5 cm from the ceiling. This makes it an excellent flush-mount option for rooms with lower ceilings or where you want unobtrusive lighting without sacrificing style or light output.
Can I use the Oda ceiling light in a bathroom?
No, this fitting is rated IP20, which means it has no protection against moisture and is suitable for dry indoor spaces only. It should not be installed in bathrooms, shower rooms, or any other areas where it may be exposed to water or high humidity. For bathrooms, you'll need a fitting rated at least IP44 (or IP65 for zones 1 and 2).
