Cookie Policy
Last updated: 17 August 2026
This page explains what cookies are, which ones this website uses, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our privacy policy, which explains more broadly how we handle your personal data.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember things between pages and between visits — what is in your basket, whether you are signed in, which pieces you have saved to a project. Similar technologies such as pixels, tags and local storage do much the same job, and where we say "cookies" on this page we mean those too.
The cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These make the shop work. They keep your basket intact, remember your session, secure the checkout and prevent fraud. They are set by Shopify, which hosts this store. Without them the site cannot function, so they cannot be switched off.
This category also covers the saved-project feature: the pieces you save are held in your browser's local storage on your own device, not on our servers, unless you choose to email your project to yourself.
Analytics
These tell us how the site is used in aggregate — which pages people land on, where they leave, whether a page is slow. We use this to fix what is broken and improve what is not. We do not use it to identify you personally.
Marketing
These let us measure whether our advertising works and, in some cases, show our pieces to people who have visited before. They may be set by advertising partners including Google.
Your choices
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through the cookie banner when you first visit, and change your mind at any time using the cookie preferences control on this site.
You can also control cookies in your browser settings — every major browser lets you block or delete them. Be aware that blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the basket and checkout working.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access it, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Our privacy policy explains those rights and how to exercise them. To make a request, email help@ensolighting.com.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when the cookies we use change. The date at the top tells you when it was last revised.
