The Halo 5-Light is the larger sibling in our drum pendant family — a 500mm antique brass plate frame cradling a panel of vertically ribbed clear glass with five soft E14 bulbs glowing within. The proportions are deliberately statement-making, designed for rooms with breathing space where a sculptural piece can become the slow gravitational centre. The fluted glass diffuses the light into layered vertical ripples while the warm brass frame anchors the room with grounded material weight.
Crafted with an antique brass plate frame and clear ribbed glass shade, the Halo 5-Light measures 500mm in diameter and suspends from a fully adjustable chain (420–1830mm) to suit even the highest ceilings. The fitting accepts five dimmable E14 LED candle bulbs (sold separately) up to 6W each — pair with warm-white opal or filament bulbs for the softest, most ambient effect.

Does the Halo 5-Light pendant require an electrician to install?
Yes, this is a hardwired ceiling pendant and under UK Building Regulations Part P, installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician or registered competent person. The fitting is Class II double-insulated and comes with all necessary mounting hardware, but connecting it to your mains circuit is notifiable electrical work. Most electricians will complete the installation in under an hour if your ceiling already has a standard BESA box or ceiling rose in place.
What bulbs does the Halo pendant use and are they included?
The Halo takes five E14 small Edison screw (SES) bulbs with a maximum wattage of 6W per bulb. Bulbs are not included, so you'll need to purchase five separately — we'd recommend 4W–6W LED E14 candle or golf ball bulbs in warm white (2700K–3000K) to complement the antique brass and achieve a soft, layered glow through the ribbed glass. The fitting is dimmable, so choose dimmable LED bulbs if you plan to use a compatible dimmer switch.
Can I use this pendant with a dimmer switch?
Yes, the Halo pendant is dimmable, but you must pair it with dimmable E14 LED bulbs and a trailing-edge (LED-compatible) dimmer switch. Older rotary or leading-edge dimmers designed for incandescent bulbs may cause flickering or buzzing with LEDs. Your electrician can advise on the correct dimmer module for your circuit during installation.
What are the dimensions and how much clearance do I need?
The Halo measures 500mm in diameter and 1830mm in total drop height from ceiling to base, so it's a substantial statement piece best suited to rooms with high ceilings—ideally 2.7m or above. For dining tables, allow at least 700–800mm clearance between the table surface and the bottom of the pendant. The fitting weighs 5kg, so ensure your ceiling fixing point is suitable for the load.
Is the Halo 5-Light pendant suitable for bathrooms?
No, this pendant has an IP20 rating, meaning it offers no moisture protection and is only suitable for dry indoor environments. UK bathroom lighting zones require minimum IP44 (splash-proof) or IP65 (jet-proof) ratings depending on proximity to water sources, so the Halo should be used in living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, or bedrooms only.
What warranty does the Halo pendant come with?
The Halo 5-Light pendant is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty requires installation by a qualified electrician and does not cover damage from improper use, such as exceeding the 6W maximum bulb wattage or exposure to moisture. Keep your proof of purchase and installation certificate for any warranty claims.
