Product Care Guide
Plaster
Dust with a soft, dry cloth only. Plaster is porous, so avoid all liquid cleaners — they'll stain or mark the surface. Raw plaster fittings can be painted: use a matte emulsion in two thin coats, allowing each to dry fully before powering on. Don't install in bathrooms or other damp areas unless the IP rating allows it.
Brass & metal
Brass develops a natural patina over time, which most people prefer. To keep the current finish, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. For a brighter look, use a brass-specific polish sparingly. Never use lemon, vinegar, or abrasive cleaners — these damage lacquered brass irreversibly. Polished chrome and nickel finishes can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth.
Glass
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly to avoid water marks. For stubborn marks, a mild glass cleaner is fine. Always ensure the fitting is switched off and fully cool before cleaning.
Fabric shades
Dust with a soft brush or vacuum on the lowest setting using an upholstery attachment. Avoid wet cleaning — fabric shades can stain, warp, or shrink. Spot-clean small marks only with a barely-damp microfibre cloth.
Ceramic
Glazed ceramic can be wiped with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Unglazed or matte ceramic should be kept dry and dusted only. Always ensure the fitting is switched off and cool first.
Before you clean
Switch off at the wall and let the fitting cool fully. Never spray cleaner directly onto a fitting — apply to a cloth first. If your fitting has visible wiring, electrical components, or LED drivers exposed, keep moisture well away from these areas.

Questions
Is the Lucca triple spot suitable for bathroom zones and is it waterproof?
The Lucca has an IP44 rating, making it water-resistant and safe for bathroom zone 2 (areas outside the shower or bath enclosure but within 0.6m of a water source). It's not fully waterproof, so it shouldn't be installed directly above a shower or bath (zone 1), but it's ideal for general bathroom ceiling positions where some moisture protection is needed.
What bulbs do I need for this fitting and are they included?
This fitting requires three GU10 bulbs with a maximum wattage of 5W each (LED). Bulbs are not included with the Lucca, so you'll need to purchase them separately. GU10 fittings are a standard bayonet-twist style widely available in various colour temperatures and beam angles to suit your preference.
Do I need an electrician to install this bathroom ceiling light?
Yes, as this is a hardwired ceiling fitting, installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in compliance with UK Building Regulations Part P. The electrician will connect it to your mains ceiling circuit, typically via a junction box or existing ceiling rose position, and certify the work for safety and building control purposes.
Can this spotlight be used with a dimmer switch?
The fitting itself is compatible with dimming, but whether you can dim the Lucca depends entirely on the GU10 bulbs you choose. You'll need to purchase dimmable GU10 LED bulbs and pair them with an appropriate LED-compatible dimmer switch for smooth dimming performance.
What are the dimensions and how much ceiling space does it need?
The Lucca measures 220mm in diameter and has a height of 140mm from the ceiling, so it sits relatively compact. You'll need a clear ceiling area of at least 220mm diameter for mounting, and you should allow for the three adjustable spotlight heads to rotate without obstruction from walls or furniture.
How bright will this be for a bathroom with three 5W GU10 bulbs?
With three 5W GU10 LED bulbs (typically around 400 lumens each), you'll achieve approximately 1200 total lumens, which is suitable for ambient and task lighting in a small to medium bathroom (up to around 6-8 square metres). The adjustable heads let you direct light for grooming tasks at mirrors or general illumination, though larger bathrooms may benefit from supplementary lighting.
The Enso Standard
Anyone can sell you a light.
We’d rather sell you the right one.
Lighting, considered.
Chosen, not stocked
For every piece here, we passed on hundreds. If a fitting doesn’t earn its place, it isn’t here.
Curation is mostly the art of saying no.
Held to one standard
Copenhagen brass or precision-built LED — every piece is vetted the same way: finish, build, light quality, safety. If it doesn’t pass, it doesn’t stay.
The standard doesn’t care what a light costs.
Nothing left to guess
Every dimension, bulb, IP rating and install note published before you buy — you and your electrician know exactly what arrives.
The spec sheet is the love letter.
Backed, properly
Two-year warranty as standard, 30-day returns. If something isn’t right, we’d rather know — and put it right.
A fitting should outlast the fashion that chose it.
