It's not suitable for fully exposed locations where it would be subject to direct rain or harsh weather conditions.
Do I need an electrician to install this pendant light, and does it comply with UK wiring regulations?
Yes, you'll need a qualified electrician to install this fitting as it's hardwired (mains-wired) and classified as moderate installation difficulty. Under UK Building Regulations Part P, any new or altered fixed electrical installation in a dwelling must be installed by a certified electrician or tested and certified upon completion. The Dale is Class I, meaning it requires an earth connection for safety.
What type of bulb does this light take and is it dimmable?
This fitting takes a single E27 Edison Screw bulb with a maximum wattage of 12W, and the bulb is not included.
