Product Care Guide
Plaster
Dust with a soft, dry cloth only. Plaster is porous, so avoid all liquid cleaners — they'll stain or mark the surface. Raw plaster fittings can be painted: use a matte emulsion in two thin coats, allowing each to dry fully before powering on. Don't install in bathrooms or other damp areas unless the IP rating allows it.
Brass & metal
Brass develops a natural patina over time, which most people prefer. To keep the current finish, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. For a brighter look, use a brass-specific polish sparingly. Never use lemon, vinegar, or abrasive cleaners — these damage lacquered brass irreversibly. Polished chrome and nickel finishes can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth.
Glass
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly to avoid water marks. For stubborn marks, a mild glass cleaner is fine. Always ensure the fitting is switched off and fully cool before cleaning.
Fabric shades
Dust with a soft brush or vacuum on the lowest setting using an upholstery attachment. Avoid wet cleaning — fabric shades can stain, warp, or shrink. Spot-clean small marks only with a barely-damp microfibre cloth.
Ceramic
Glazed ceramic can be wiped with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Unglazed or matte ceramic should be kept dry and dusted only. Always ensure the fitting is switched off and cool first.
Before you clean
Switch off at the wall and let the fitting cool fully. Never spray cleaner directly onto a fitting — apply to a cloth first. If your fitting has visible wiring, electrical components, or LED drivers exposed, keep moisture well away from these areas.

A taller Halo sconce — vertical scale for the wall
Double-stacked ribbed glass
Two clear ribbed glass cylinders stacked one above the other in a single slim antique brass plate — a 340mm vertical sconce that holds its own as a feature, not just an accent.
Architectural vertical rhythm
The vertical ribs catch the light along their full 340mm length, sending a layered glow up and down the wall — ideal beside tall mirrors, along stairwell runs, or in pairs as a hallway rhythm.
Two dimmable E14 lamps
Two dimmable E14 candle bulbs (sold separately) up to 6W each cast a soft, twin-layered glow through vertical ribs of clear glass — pair with warm-white opal or filament lamps for the most ambient effect.

Questions
What type of bulbs does the Halo 2-Light wall sconce take?
The Halo requires two E14 SES (Small Edison Screw) bulbs, with a maximum wattage of 6W per socket. This makes it ideal for LED candle or golf ball bulbs in E14 fitting. The clear ribbed glass cylinders work beautifully with warm white filament-style LEDs if you want that vintage look, or standard frosted LEDs for more diffused light.
Can this wall light be dimmed?
Yes, the Halo 2-Light is dimmable, provided you use dimmable E14 bulbs and have a compatible dimmer switch installed. As it's a Class I hardwired fitting, the dimmer would need to be wired into your lighting circuit by a qualified electrician. Check that your chosen E14 LED bulbs are marked as dimmable, as not all LED bulbs support dimming.
Do I need an electrician to install this wall sconce?
Yes, as this is a hardwired Class I fitting, installation must comply with Part P Building Regulations in England and Wales. Unless you're a qualified electrician or competent person, you'll need to hire a registered electrician to connect it safely to your mains circuit and issue the required certification. The fitting itself mounts to a standard wall or BESA box, which the manufacturer rates as 'easy' once the wiring is in place.
What are the dimensions and how far does it stick out from the wall?
The Halo 2-Light stands 340mm tall, 83mm wide, and projects 87mm from the wall. That vertical height makes it well-suited to taller spaces like stairwells or flanking a full-length mirror, while the compact 87mm projection keeps it from intruding into hallways or narrow spaces.
Can I use this wall light in a bathroom?
No, the Halo 2-Light is rated IP20, which means it's suitable for dry indoor areas only and not protected against moisture. For bathroom use, you'd need a fitting rated at least IP44 (or IP65 for shower zones). This sconce is best kept to hallways, living rooms, bedrooms, or dining areas.
What warranty does this fitting come with?
The Halo 2-Light wall sconce is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty from National Lighting. This covers manufacturing defects and faults in materials or workmanship under normal domestic use, but doesn't cover damage from incorrect installation or use of incompatible bulbs.

The Enso Standard
Anyone can sell you a light.
We’d rather sell you the right one.
Lighting, considered.
Chosen, not stocked
For every piece here, we passed on hundreds. If a fitting doesn’t earn its place, it isn’t here.
Curation is mostly the art of saying no.
Held to one standard
Copenhagen brass or precision-built LED — every piece is vetted the same way: finish, build, light quality, safety. If it doesn’t pass, it doesn’t stay.
The standard doesn’t care what a light costs.
Nothing left to guess
Every dimension, bulb, IP rating and install note published before you buy — you and your electrician know exactly what arrives.
The spec sheet is the love letter.
Backed, properly
Two-year warranty as standard, 30-day returns. If something isn’t right, we’d rather know — and put it right.
A fitting should outlast the fashion that chose it.
