Installation difficulty is rated as moderate, and the fitting is suitable for mounting onto plasterboard, timber joist, or concrete ceilings. A BESA box or equivalent ceiling rose connection point is typically required.
What type of bulb does this ceiling light take and is one included?
The Zola uses a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb with a maximum wattage of 7W, and no bulb is included in the box. We recommend an LED E27 bulb for energy efficiency—choose a dimmable version if you wish to use dimming functionality. The open design works well with decorative filament bulbs or standard A60 shapes.
Can the Zola sand beige ceiling light be dimmed?
Yes, this fitting is dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable E27 bulb and a trailing edge dimmer switch. The fitting itself supports dimming, but you must use a dimmable LED bulb (not included) and ensure your dimmer switch is rated for LED loads. Standard non-dimmable bulbs will not dim and may flicker.
What are the dimensions of this terrazzo-effect ceiling light?
The Zola measures 400mm in diameter and 270mm in height from the ceiling to the lowest point of the fitting. This makes it a substantial focal point suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of at least 2.4m to maintain comfortable headroom, and it works particularly well over dining tables or in living rooms and bedrooms.

No, the Zola has an IP20 rating, which means it is not protected against moisture and is only suitable for dry indoor locations. It should not be installed in bathrooms, en-suites, or any areas where it may be exposed to steam or splashing water. Choose a fitting with a minimum IP44 rating for bathroom zones.
What warranty does the Zola ceiling light come with?
This fitting is covered by a 2-year manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. It is CE marked and RoHS compliant, meeting UK safety and environmental standards. The warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation or the use of incompatible bulbs exceeding the 7W maximum wattage.
