The fitting connects directly to your mains wiring via a ceiling rose or BESA box. While the installation itself is rated as easy for a professional, it's not a plug-in fixture and legally requires certified installation.
What type of bulb does this 60 cm pendant take and is it included?
The Kaia uses a single E27 (Edison Screw) bulb with a maximum wattage of 7W, and no bulb is included with the fitting. For a warm, inviting glow that complements the sand beige finish, we recommend an E27 LED filament bulb in 2700K warm white. If you want dimming functionality, ensure you choose a dimmable E27 LED bulb.
Can this pendant light be dimmed?
Yes, the Kaia is dimmable when paired with a dimmable E27 bulb and a trailing edge dimmer switch. The fitting itself is compatible with dimming systems, but you must use a dimmable LED bulb (sold separately) and ensure your dimmer switch is a trailing edge type designed for LED loads. Standard rotary dimmers may cause flickering with LED bulbs.
What are the exact dimensions and how low does it hang?
The pendant measures 60 cm wide, 55 cm deep, and 27 cm high, making it a substantial statement piece. The suspension cable is 2 metres long and is height-adjustable, so you can shorten it to suit your ceiling height and table clearance. The large curved form works best over dining tables or kitchen islands where its 60 cm span can be fully appreciated.
