Sculpted Light, Naturally Formed
# Kaia Curved Stone-Effect Pendant Light — White, 60 cm
A sculptural sweep of organic form, this curved stone-effect pendant brings instant architectural drama to your dining table or living room corner. The matt white finish catches and softly diffuses light across its wave-like surface, creating gentle shadows that shift beautifully throughout the day. It's a statement piece that feels both contemporary and timeless—effortlessly elegant whether your style leans minimalist or layered.
Crafted from durable moulded resin composite, the Kaia spans 60 cm in length and suspends on adjustable cables up to 2 metres, letting you tailor the drop to your ceiling height. Takes one E27 bulb (up to 7W LED recommended, not included) and is fully dimmable when paired with a compatible bulb and trailing edge dimmer. Suitable for indoor use, mounting to plasterboard, timber joists or concrete ceilings. A considered choice that combines artistic presence with everyday practicality.

Good to know
A few questions,
before it comes home.
Does the Kaia curved stone-effect pendant require an electrician to install?
Yes, this fitting is hardwired and must be installed by a qualified electrician in compliance with UK Part P Building Regulations. The Kaia mounts directly to a ceiling rose or BESA box on suitable surfaces including plasterboard, timber joists, or concrete. The installation itself is straightforward, but legally and safely requires professional electrical work.
Can this pendant light be dimmed?
Yes, the Kaia is dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable E27 bulb (not included). You'll need a trailing edge dimmer switch installed to control the brightness smoothly. Standard non-dimmable bulbs will work but won't dim, so ensure you purchase a dimmable LED or filament bulb rated up to the 7W maximum.
What size bulb does the Kaia curved pendant take and is one included?
This fitting takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb with a maximum wattage of 7W, and no bulb is included. We recommend an LED bulb for energy efficiency—choose a warm white (2700K) for cosy ambience or daylight (4000K+) for task lighting. Make sure it's dimmable if you plan to use a dimmer switch.
How big is the Kaia pendant and how far does it hang from the ceiling?
The shade measures 60 cm wide and 55 cm deep, making it a substantial statement piece ideal for dining tables or spacious living areas. The adjustable cable is 2 metres long, allowing you to position the pendant at your preferred height—this can usually be shortened during installation if needed.
Is this pendant light suitable for bathrooms?
No, the Kaia has an IP20 rating, which means it's not protected against moisture and is only suitable for dry indoor areas. For bathroom zones, you'd need a fitting rated at least IP44 (or IP65 for shower zones). This pendant is perfect for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, and hallways.
What warranty does the Kaia curved stone-effect pendant come with?
This fitting comes with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty is valid from the date of purchase and requires proof of purchase. It covers the fitting itself but does not include bulbs or damage caused by improper installation.
