The installation itself is rated as easy, suitable for ceiling types including plasterboard, timber joists, and concrete. You'll need a standard BESA box or ceiling rose connection point, and the height is adjustable during installation via the suspension cable.
What type of bulb does this pendant take and is one included?
The Kaia uses a single E27 screw-in bulb with a maximum wattage of 7W, and no bulb is included with the fitting. For best results with the stone-effect shade, choose an E27 LED bulb in warm white (2700K-3000K) to complement the sand beige finish. Make sure to select a dimmable E27 LED if you want dimming functionality.
Can I dim the Kaia stone-effect pendant light?
Yes, this pendant is dimmable when paired with a suitable dimmable E27 bulb and a trailing edge dimmer switch. The fitting itself supports dimming, but you must use a dimmable LED bulb (the bulb is not included) and ensure your dimmer is compatible with LED loads. Standard leading edge dimmers may cause flickering with LED bulbs.
