Is this pendant light weatherproof enough for an outdoor porch?
The Linden has an IP44 rating, which protects it against splashing water from any direction, making it suitable for covered outdoor areas such as porches, verandas, soffits, and pergolas. It is not weatherproof enough for fully exposed locations where it would be subjected to direct rain or harsh weather, so it must be installed under a roof or substantial overhang.
What type of bulb does this pendant take and is it dimmable?
This fitting takes a single E27 Edison screw bulb with a maximum wattage of 12W, and no bulb is included. The Linden is dimmable when fitted with a dimmable E27 bulb and a compatible trailing edge dimmer switch. The clear glass globe is designed to showcase decorative filament bulbs beautifully, making vintage-style LED bulbs an ideal choice.
What are the dimensions of this outdoor pendant light?
The pendant has a diameter of 220mm and a total drop height of 850mm from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. The ceiling canopy measures 110mm in diameter, and the height is adjustable via the suspension chain, allowing you to shorten it to suit your space. This makes it ideal for standard porch ceilings where you need to control the overall drop.
Can I use a smart bulb or LED bulb with this pendant?
