What type of bulbs does the Rosa beige glass wall light take and are they included?
This fitting requires three E14 small Edison screw bulbs, with a maximum wattage of 12W each. Bulbs are not included, so you'll need to purchase them separately. For a soft, ambient glow that complements the frosted beige glass, we'd recommend warm white LED E14 candle or golf ball bulbs.
Can the Rosa 3-light wall fitting be dimmed?
Yes, the Rosa is dimmable when fitted with dimmable E14 bulbs and a trailing edge dimmer switch. The fitting itself is compatible with dimming, but you must use dimmable bulbs and ensure your dimmer is a trailing edge type designed for LED or low-wattage lamps. Standard rotary dimmers may cause flickering or buzzing.
Do I need an electrician to install this wall light?
Yes, an electrician is required for installation. This is a hardwired Class I wall fitting that must be connected directly to your mains circuit and properly earthed. Under UK Building Regulations Part P, fixed electrical work like this must be installed by a qualified electrician or certified as compliant.
What are the dimensions of the Rosa wall light and how far does it stick out from the wall?
The fitting measures 300mm in diameter and has a projection (height from the wall) of 125mm. This relatively shallow profile makes it suitable for narrower hallways or areas where you don't want the light protruding too far, whilst still providing enough depth for the three elegant glass shades.
Is this wall light suitable for a bathroom?
No, the Rosa is rated IP20 and is only suitable for indoor dry locations. It is not protected against moisture and cannot be used in bathrooms, where regulations require minimum IP44 rating (or IP65/IP67 within shower zones). It's ideal for hallways, living rooms, bedrooms, or dining areas.
What warranty does this beige glass wall light come with?
The Rosa wall light is covered by a 2-year manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase. This covers manufacturing defects and faults but does not cover damage from incorrect installation, misuse, or wear and tear on consumable parts such as bulbs.
