Product Care Guide
Plaster
Dust with a soft, dry cloth only. Plaster is porous, so avoid all liquid cleaners — they'll stain or mark the surface. Raw plaster fittings can be painted: use a matte emulsion in two thin coats, allowing each to dry fully before powering on. Don't install in bathrooms or other damp areas unless the IP rating allows it.
Brass & metal
Brass develops a natural patina over time, which most people prefer. To keep the current finish, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. For a brighter look, use a brass-specific polish sparingly. Never use lemon, vinegar, or abrasive cleaners — these damage lacquered brass irreversibly. Polished chrome and nickel finishes can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth.
Glass
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly to avoid water marks. For stubborn marks, a mild glass cleaner is fine. Always ensure the fitting is switched off and fully cool before cleaning.
Fabric shades
Dust with a soft brush or vacuum on the lowest setting using an upholstery attachment. Avoid wet cleaning — fabric shades can stain, warp, or shrink. Spot-clean small marks only with a barely-damp microfibre cloth.
Ceramic
Glazed ceramic can be wiped with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Unglazed or matte ceramic should be kept dry and dusted only. Always ensure the fitting is switched off and cool first.
Before you clean
Switch off at the wall and let the fitting cool fully. Never spray cleaner directly onto a fitting — apply to a cloth first. If your fitting has visible wiring, electrical components, or LED drivers exposed, keep moisture well away from these areas.

Does the Veyra Gold and Glass 3 Light Pendant come with bulbs or do I need to buy them separately?
Bulbs are not included with this pendant light. You'll need to purchase three E14 small Edison screw bulbs separately. Each lampholder supports up to 7W, so LED E14 bulbs are ideal for energy efficiency and will give you plenty of brightness across the three fittings.
Can I dim the Veyra Gold and Glass Pendant Light?
Yes, this pendant is dimmable, but you'll need to ensure you purchase dimmable E14 bulbs and have a compatible dimmer switch installed. Not all LED bulbs dim smoothly, so check the bulb packaging confirms compatibility with leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmers. The fixture itself supports dimming once these requirements are met.
Do I need an electrician to install this ceiling pendant light?
Yes, as this is a hardwired ceiling light, installation must comply with UK Building Regulations Part P. Unless you're a qualified electrician or competent person, you'll need to hire a registered electrician to safely connect it to your mains circuit and issue the necessary certification.
What type of ceiling fixing does this pendant require and will it work with a standard UK ceiling rose?
The Veyra requires a secure hardwired ceiling point capable of supporting 6kg. It will work with a standard UK ceiling rose or BESA mounting box, but given the weight of the glass rods and metalwork, ensure your ceiling fixing is solid and screwed into a joist or uses appropriate cavity fixings. The 1.5m cable and chain suspension allow for adjustable drop height during installation.
Is this pendant light suitable for a bathroom?
No, the Veyra is designed for indoor use only and does not carry an IP rating for moisture protection. It should not be installed in bathrooms or other wet or humid environments where an IP44 rating or higher is required by UK wiring regulations.
What size room is the Veyra 3 Light Pendant suitable for?
With three E14 lampholders each supporting up to 7W, this pendant works well in medium-sized dining rooms, living rooms, or hallways where ambient lighting is needed.
