Twin G9 lampholders give you plenty of light (bulbs not included, max 25W each), and it's fully dimmable with a trailing edge dimmer for complete control over your atmosphere. Measuring 25 × 19 × 10 cm, it's perfectly proportioned for feature walls or flanking artwork. Hardwired installation, so you'll need a qualified electrician. IP20 rated for indoor use.

What type of bulbs does the Alma Gold Leaf wall light take and are they included?
The Alma uses G9 capsule bulbs with a maximum wattage of 25W per lamp, and it has 2 lampholders. Bulbs are not included, so you'll need to purchase two G9 bulbs separately. We recommend warm white G9 LEDs to complement the gold leaf finish and achieve the ambient glow this fitting is designed for.
Can this wall light be dimmed?
Yes, the Alma is dimmable when used with compatible dimmable G9 bulbs. You'll need a trailing edge dimmer switch to control the light level smoothly without flickering. Ensure both your bulbs and dimmer are rated for LED use if you're fitting LED G9 capsules.
Do I need an electrician to install this wall light?
Yes, an electrician is required for installation. The Alma is a hardwired Class I fitting that must be connected directly to your mains electrical supply, and under UK Building Regulations Part P, all fixed lighting installation work in dwellings must be carried out by a qualified electrician or certified under a competent person scheme.
What are the dimensions of this wall light and how far does it stick out from the wall?
The Alma measures 250mm in height, 190mm in width, and projects 100mm from the wall. This depth makes it ideal for spaces where you want a sculptural presence without obstructing pathways—perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, or wider hallways where the plaster detail can be appreciated.
Can this wall light be used in a bathroom?
No, the Alma has an IP20 rating, which means it's not protected against moisture and is suitable for indoor dry locations only. It cannot be safely installed in bathrooms or any zones where water splashes or humidity are present. For bathrooms, you'll need a fitting with a minimum IP44 rating.
