Product Care Guide
Plaster
Dust with a soft, dry cloth only. Plaster is porous, so avoid all liquid cleaners — they'll stain or mark the surface. Raw plaster fittings can be painted: use a matte emulsion in two thin coats, allowing each to dry fully before powering on. Don't install in bathrooms or other damp areas unless the IP rating allows it.
Brass & metal
Brass develops a natural patina over time, which most people prefer. To keep the current finish, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. For a brighter look, use a brass-specific polish sparingly. Never use lemon, vinegar, or abrasive cleaners — these damage lacquered brass irreversibly. Polished chrome and nickel finishes can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth.
Glass
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly to avoid water marks. For stubborn marks, a mild glass cleaner is fine. Always ensure the fitting is switched off and fully cool before cleaning.
Fabric shades
Dust with a soft brush or vacuum on the lowest setting using an upholstery attachment. Avoid wet cleaning — fabric shades can stain, warp, or shrink. Spot-clean small marks only with a barely-damp microfibre cloth.
Ceramic
Glazed ceramic can be wiped with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Unglazed or matte ceramic should be kept dry and dusted only. Always ensure the fitting is switched off and cool first.
Before you clean
Switch off at the wall and let the fitting cool fully. Never spray cleaner directly onto a fitting — apply to a cloth first. If your fitting has visible wiring, electrical components, or LED drivers exposed, keep moisture well away from these areas.

No, the Lattice is a plug-in table lamp that requires no electrical installation or Part P certification. Simply place it on your table or sideboard, plug it into a standard UK socket, fit a bulb, and switch it on. It's designed for instant setup without any wiring work.
What type of bulb does this ceramic table lamp use?
The lamp accepts standard E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, which are widely available in the UK. You'll need to purchase a bulb separately as one is not included. Choose an LED bulb rated for 220-240V to match your preferred brightness and colour temperature.
Can I use a dimmer switch with the Lattice table lamp?
Dimming capability depends on the bulb you choose rather than the lamp itself. If you fit a dimmable E27 LED bulb and plug the lamp into a trailing socket with a dimmer or use an inline dimmer cable, you can adjust the brightness. Standard non-dimmable bulbs will only work at full brightness.
