Product Care Guide
Plaster
Dust with a soft, dry cloth only. Plaster is porous, so avoid all liquid cleaners — they'll stain or mark the surface. Raw plaster fittings can be painted: use a matte emulsion in two thin coats, allowing each to dry fully before powering on. Don't install in bathrooms or other damp areas unless the IP rating allows it.
Brass & metal
Brass develops a natural patina over time, which most people prefer. To keep the current finish, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. For a brighter look, use a brass-specific polish sparingly. Never use lemon, vinegar, or abrasive cleaners — these damage lacquered brass irreversibly. Polished chrome and nickel finishes can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth.
Glass
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly to avoid water marks. For stubborn marks, a mild glass cleaner is fine. Always ensure the fitting is switched off and fully cool before cleaning.
Fabric shades
Dust with a soft brush or vacuum on the lowest setting using an upholstery attachment. Avoid wet cleaning — fabric shades can stain, warp, or shrink. Spot-clean small marks only with a barely-damp microfibre cloth.
Ceramic
Glazed ceramic can be wiped with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Unglazed or matte ceramic should be kept dry and dusted only. Always ensure the fitting is switched off and cool first.
Before you clean
Switch off at the wall and let the fitting cool fully. Never spray cleaner directly onto a fitting — apply to a cloth first. If your fitting has visible wiring, electrical components, or LED drivers exposed, keep moisture well away from these areas.

Questions
Does the Kiro Provence Blue wall light need to be installed by an electrician?
Yes, the Kiro is a hardwired fitting and must be connected directly to your mains supply. Under UK Building Regulations Part P, this type of installation work in most rooms should be carried out by a qualified electrician or certified competent person. You'll typically need a standard BESA box or backplate behind the wall for mounting.
Can I use this ceramic wall light with a dimmer switch?
Yes, the Kiro is dimmable, but you'll need to fit a dimmable G9 bulb and ensure your dimmer switch is compatible with that bulb type (LED or halogen). Not all G9 LEDs dim smoothly, so check the bulb packaging confirms it works with leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmers, depending on what's installed in your home.
What G9 bulb do I need for the Kiro wall light?
The Kiro takes a single G9 capsule bulb (the small two-pin type). You can use either LED or halogen G9 bulbs up to the maximum wattage your bulb supplier recommends for enclosed fittings. For a warm, cosy glow that suits the Provence Blue finish, look for a 2700K colour temperature in around 300–400 lumens.
What are the dimensions of the small Kiro wall light?
The small Kiro measures 165mm high, 205mm wide, and projects 120mm from the wall. At 700g it's relatively lightweight, making it suitable for most wall types with appropriate fixings. The compact size works well in hallways, alcoves, or either side of a bed.
Can I use the Kiro Provence Blue wall light in a bathroom?
No, this fitting is rated IP20, which means it's suitable for dry interior spaces only and offers no protection against moisture. For bathroom use, you'd need a minimum of IP44 (or IP65 for shower zones), so the Kiro is best kept to living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and dining areas.
Does this wall light point light into the room or wash the wall?
The Kiro's cone-shaped ceramic shade directs light both upwards and downwards, washing the wall in a soft glow rather than projecting a beam into the room. This creates ambient, glare-free lighting that highlights the wall texture and adds warmth without harsh spotlighting — ideal for reading nooks, hallways, or bedside lighting.
The Enso Standard
Anyone can sell you a light.
We’d rather sell you the right one.
Lighting, considered.
Chosen, not stocked
For every piece here, we passed on hundreds. If a fitting doesn’t earn its place, it isn’t here.
Curation is mostly the art of saying no.
From Europe’s quiet workshops
Copenhagen brass, Milanese plaster, hand-woven French rattan — small independent design houses, named by place, plainly.
Designed in Europe. Named honestly.
Nothing left to guess
Every dimension, bulb, IP rating and install note published before you buy — you and your electrician know exactly what arrives.
The spec sheet is the love letter.
Backed, properly
Two-year warranty as standard, 30-day returns. If something isn’t right, we’d rather know — and put it right.
A fitting should outlast the fashion that chose it.
