No bulb is included with this fitting. You'll need to purchase an E27 screw-in bulb separately, with a maximum wattage of 12W. For best results with the fabric shade, consider a warm white LED bulb (2700K-3000K) to enhance the cosy, diffused glow the Amaro creates.
Can I dim this ceiling light, and what type of dimmer do I need?
Yes, the Amaro is dimmable when fitted with a dimmable E27 bulb. You'll need a trailing edge dimmer switch (also called an LED-compatible dimmer) installed in your lighting circuit. Both the dimmer and the bulb must be dimmable for this to work properly.
Do I need an electrician to install the Amaro ceiling light?
Yes, an electrician is required as this is a hardwired Class I ceiling fitting. Under UK Building Regulations Part P, new or replacement ceiling light installations in most rooms must be carried out or certified by a qualified electrician.
