What bulbs do I need for the Hana 3-light ceiling fitting?
The Hana uses three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, with a maximum wattage of 12W each. Bulbs are not included, so you'll need to purchase them separately. For best results with the fabric shades, we'd recommend warm white LED bulbs (2700K-3000K) to create a cosy, inviting atmosphere.
Can I dim the Hana beige fabric ceiling light?
Yes, the Hana is dimmable when fitted with dimmable E27 bulbs and a trailing edge dimmer switch. You'll need to ensure both the bulbs you purchase are marked as dimmable and that your electrician installs a compatible trailing edge dimmer during fitting. Standard on/off switching will work fine if you don't require dimming.
Do I need an electrician to install this ceiling light?
Yes, an electrician is required as this is a hardwired Class I fitting that must be connected directly to your mains circuit. Under UK Building Regulations Part P, all fixed electrical installation work in dwellings must be carried out by a qualified person or notified to Building Control. The installation difficulty is rated as moderate, and it's suitable for plasterboard, timber joist, or concrete ceilings.
What are the dimensions of the Hana 3-light fitting?
The Hana measures 400mm in diameter and 260mm in height from the ceiling. This makes it well-suited to medium-sized rooms such as bedrooms, dining areas, or hallways where you need even illumination without the fitting hanging too low or overwhelming the space.
Can I use this fabric ceiling light in a bathroom?
No, the Hana has an IP20 rating, which means it's only suitable for general indoor dry locations and is not protected against moisture. For bathrooms, you would need a minimum of IP44 (or IP65 for shower zones), so this fitting should be used in living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, or hallways only.
What warranty does the Hana ceiling light come with?
