Product Care Guide
Plaster
Dust with a soft, dry cloth only. Plaster is porous, so avoid all liquid cleaners — they'll stain or mark the surface. Raw plaster fittings can be painted: use a matte emulsion in two thin coats, allowing each to dry fully before powering on. Don't install in bathrooms or other damp areas unless the IP rating allows it.
Brass & metal
Brass develops a natural patina over time, which most people prefer. To keep the current finish, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. For a brighter look, use a brass-specific polish sparingly. Never use lemon, vinegar, or abrasive cleaners — these damage lacquered brass irreversibly. Polished chrome and nickel finishes can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth.
Glass
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly to avoid water marks. For stubborn marks, a mild glass cleaner is fine. Always ensure the fitting is switched off and fully cool before cleaning.
Fabric shades
Dust with a soft brush or vacuum on the lowest setting using an upholstery attachment. Avoid wet cleaning — fabric shades can stain, warp, or shrink. Spot-clean small marks only with a barely-damp microfibre cloth.
Ceramic
Glazed ceramic can be wiped with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Unglazed or matte ceramic should be kept dry and dusted only. Always ensure the fitting is switched off and cool first.
Before you clean
Switch off at the wall and let the fitting cool fully. Never spray cleaner directly onto a fitting — apply to a cloth first. If your fitting has visible wiring, electrical components, or LED drivers exposed, keep moisture well away from these areas.

Questions
Does the Kiro Moss Green wall light need to be installed by an electrician?
Yes. The Kiro is hardwired directly into the mains and must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with UK Building Regulations Part P. It's not a plug-in fitting, so you'll need a permanent connection to your wall wiring, typically via a BESA box or backplate.
What G9 bulb do I need for the Kiro ceramic wall light?
The Kiro takes a single G9 capsule bulb (not included). Choose an LED G9 with a maximum wattage suitable for ceramic fittings—typically 3–5W LED, which gives roughly 300–500 lumens. Because the fitting is dimmable, look for a dimmable G9 bulb if you're using it with a compatible dimmer switch.
Can the Kiro wall light be used on a dimmer switch?
Yes, the Kiro is dimmable, but you'll need both a trailing-edge LED-compatible dimmer switch and a dimmable G9 bulb. Standard rotary or older dimmers designed for incandescent bulbs may cause flickering or buzzing with LED capsules, so check your dimmer is rated for low-wattage LEDs.
What are the dimensions of the large Kiro wall light in Moss Green?
The large Kiro measures 235mm wide, 200mm tall, and projects 135mm from the wall. At 900g it's relatively lightweight, but its depth means it works best on walls with a bit of clearance—hallways, beside beds, or flanking a mirror rather than tight corners.
Is the Kiro Moss Green wall light suitable for bathrooms?
No. The Kiro is rated IP20, meaning it has no moisture protection and is only suitable for dry interior spaces. UK bathroom zones require minimum IP44 (Zone 2) or IP65 (Zones 0 and 1), so this fitting should be kept well away from baths, showers, and basin splashes.
Does the Kiro produce direct light or does it just light the wall?
The Kiro casts light both upwards and downwards along the wall rather than projecting a beam into the room. This creates a soft, indirect wash of light above and below the fitting—ideal for ambient mood lighting or accent illumination, but not suitable as a primary task light.
The Enso Standard
Anyone can sell you a light.
We’d rather sell you the right one.
Lighting, considered.
Chosen, not stocked
For every piece here, we passed on hundreds. If a fitting doesn’t earn its place, it isn’t here.
Curation is mostly the art of saying no.
From Europe’s quiet workshops
Copenhagen brass, Milanese plaster, hand-woven French rattan — small independent design houses, named by place, plainly.
Designed in Europe. Named honestly.
Nothing left to guess
Every dimension, bulb, IP rating and install note published before you buy — you and your electrician know exactly what arrives.
The spec sheet is the love letter.
Backed, properly
Two-year warranty as standard, 30-day returns. If something isn’t right, we’d rather know — and put it right.
A fitting should outlast the fashion that chose it.
