The playful arrangement of three lights works wonderfully above a dining table, creating an inviting focal point that draws people together.
Each shade combines genuine travertine stone with dark wood in a rich brown and beige palette that complements both modern and traditional interiors. The natural materials deliver quality you can see and feel, whilst the compact round ceiling plate keeps the look clean and uncluttered. Fitted with three E27 lampholders, you can use dimmable bulbs with a trailing edge dimmer to adjust the ambience exactly as you wish, from bright family meals to intimate evening gatherings.

What type of bulbs does the Taoka pendant light use and are they included?
The Taoka uses three E27 screw-in bulbs (standard Edison screw), with a maximum wattage of 12W per bulb. Bulbs are not included, so you'll need to purchase them separately. We recommend LED E27 bulbs in a warm white colour temperature (2700K–3000K) to complement the natural travertine and wood materials.
Can this pendant light be dimmed?
Yes, the Taoka is dimmable when fitted with dimmable E27 bulbs. You'll need to install a trailing edge dimmer switch on your lighting circuit to control the brightness. Standard non-dimmable bulbs will work at full brightness only, so make sure to specify dimmable LED bulbs if you want dimming functionality.
Do I need an electrician to install this pendant light?
Yes, as this is a hardwired Class I fitting, installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in compliance with UK Building Regulations Part P. The electrician will connect the pendant directly to your mains supply and ensure proper earthing. While the installation itself is straightforward, legal compliance requires professional installation for hardwired ceiling lights.
What are the dimensions and is the drop height adjustable?
The Taoka has a diameter of 290mm (29cm) and a total drop of 1500mm (1.5 metres) from ceiling to the lowest shade. The height is adjustable via the 1.5-metre cable, so your electrician can shorten the drop during installation to suit your ceiling height and room requirements. The three shades hang at staggered heights for visual interest.
Is this pendant suitable for a bathroom?
No, the Taoka has an IP20 rating, which means it's suitable for dry indoor locations only and offers no protection against moisture. It should not be installed in bathrooms or any areas where it could be exposed to steam, splashes, or damp conditions. It's ideal for dining rooms, living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms.
What warranty does this light come with?
The Taoka pendant is covered by a 2-year manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. This covers the fitting itself, including the travertine stone and wood components, but does not include wear and tear or damage from incorrect installation. The warranty is valid from your date of purchase.
